Marsna Paper evaluates coffee filter paper project

Dutch speciality paper manufacturer Marsna Paper, a company of the industrial family Pijsel, is considering expanding its production to include coffee filter paper. According to company information, the company plans to produce between 4,000 and 6,000 tpy of coffee filter paper at its Meerssen site and supply it to Dutch paper filter manufacturer Filtropa, also a company of the Pijsel family. The project is currently in the planning stage and the production of filter paper would not start until 2020 at the earliest, Marsna Paper's management told EUWID.
