Sun Paper starts up another new PM for recycled grades

Chinese paper group Shandong Sun Paper has now also commissioned the second of its two new containerboard machines at the Zoucheng City plant in the province of Shandong, China. In mid-October, machine supplier Voith reported that the PM 37 had started up in September after the PM 36 had begun producing recycled corrugating case material on a commercial scale in July this year. The PM 36 is designed to produce up to 400,000 tpy of testliner in a low basis weight range, and the PM 37 was recently also said to offer a capacity of around 400,000 tpy of fluting. Previously the figure had been placed at 300,000 tpy.
