Well known exhibition photographer Larry Cowles of Norco, California joined the Photographic Society of America (PSA) in 1983 and is a familiar name to his fellow PSA members. But, the Journal's The Other Side column seeks to introduce readers to features, thoughts, activities and more about Society members. Larry's record of 35 years as a serious photography hobbyist is typical, let's learn a bit more about him this month. An electrical engineer, Larry works as an Applications Engineer for a company called Weidmuller. Spare time has included selling antiques with his wife, Susan. The Cowles had an extensive collection of "Hall T-Pots" and would give programs at various organizations and antique events which are now on CD. Larry also collects and can repair antique radios: he has over 200 radios going back to 1924.
