FPSA, tells us that "all the elements of a great portrait are present in this first place Star Color image. Good choice of costume, the yellow rain slicker, and the pipe add a lot. Of course the 'weather beaten' face has a lot of character and the photographer has chosen a good pose and excellent lighting to tell a good story with an excellent image. In this case, the feathering of the image within the print margins is a nice added touch."
