There are more features in Lightroom 3 than can be covered in this short review so the new features that are considered stand-outs will be highlighted. One of the main new features of Lightroom 3 is in importing images from a memory card or from a computer's hard drive. Images are imported faster and the completely redesigned import dialog box makes it easier and more intuitive. Across the top of the new dialog box are listed the options to Copy as DNG, Copy, Move or Add to your Catalog. The panels on the left side show the various sources of the images to be imported and the panels on the right are for the destination of your imported or copied images.
