The First PSA Greenhood Scholarships Awarded

The year-old Greenhood Scholarships and Grants Committee of the Photographic Society of America (PSA), under the leadership of Chairman John Davis Jr., APSA, PPSA,rnawarded the first PSA Scholarships in August 2009 to three university students majoring in photography. The recipients, Mallory Olenius, a student at the Art Institute of Colorado, Denver; Sarah Miller, Art Institute of Houston and Mia Shimabuku, Brooks Institute of Photography, each received $3,300 for the 2009-2010 school year. A stipulation of the PSA scholarships is that the students must prepare a portfolio to be displayed at the 2010 PSA Conference in Charleston, South Carolina.
