A Quick-start Guide to the PSA Journal OnLine

The key to understanding the marriage of our familiar print version of the PSA Journal and its representation on the World Wide Web is a file format known as Portable Document Format (PDF): software designed to view, create, manipulate and manage such a file. That is what the Webmaster and Editor will use to make the PSA Journal OnLine available for the Web site of the Photographic Society of America (PSA). It will be necessary for all members to have a program called Adobe Reader that is available as a no-charge download from the following link. Each member almost certainly has this on their computer already but, if not, it is available free at that address. Adobe Reader is cross-platform so whether a member uses a PC or a Mac it allows the viewing and printing of PDF files.
