Hammerson in pole for Junction fund

Hammerson is the f rontrunner to buy the Junction fund, in what will be the biggest out-of-town retail transaction of the downturn. PropertyWeek.com revealed this week that the retail REIT was ahead of a pack of bidders for the entire portfolio of four retail parks. It is believed to have bid around £265m, which would reflect a yield of 7%.
