Airport economy poised to take off again as recovery strengthens

Uk airports have had a tough time overthe past couple of years. After enduring the worst of the global recession, the industry has recently experienced more untimely disruptions: ash clouds from the Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajokull; persistent industrial action by British Airways staff; and extreme weather conditions. But there is growing evidence that the larger UK airports are recovering, and that attractive growth prospects are set to return.
