As we enter 2013, I sense the same feeling of relief among my peers that I saw etched on Barack Obama's face towards the end of last year, when he learned that he had just won his second presidential term. The good news is that we are all still here and surviving. The bad news is that life for the construction sector is pretty much the same five years on from the biggest crash in a generation. However, what might be a challenging time for construction is like Christmas, Easter and birthday all rolled into one for the property industry: there has never been a better time to buy.
