At least that's how the campaigners bill the row over Hammerson and Ballymore's Bishopsgate Goodsyard scheme. Public consultation on the plans for the £800m scheme on the fringe of the City of London in Shoreditch closed before Christmas and the development, which straddles the boroughs of Hackney and Tower Hamlets, is quickly becoming a lightning rod for two of the most incendiary planning issues in the capital: tall buildings and affordable housing.
