Smiggle enters into talks with landlords over rent reductions

Australian stationery retailer Smiggle has opened talks with landlords about reducing the rent it pays across a number of stores. The company, which embarked on a huge expansion drive in the UK in 2014 and now has around 130 stores, has contacted landlords to negotiate rent reductions at stores that have experienced poor trading.
