Last month, four Class Is either began building or advanced plans for new intermodal facilities. CSX Transportation broke ground on a $100 million expansion of its rail facility in Worcester, Mass. CSXT plans to relocate its yard operations from Boston's Beacon Park yards to existing yards in central and western Massachusetts.
