Csx honors newburgh & south shore In March, CSX Corp. recognized the Newburgh & South Shore Railroad L.L.C. (NSR) as one of the five fastest-growing short tines in the Class I's system of switching railroads. The Cleveland short line is owned by OmniTRAX Inc. In 2012, NSR increased its freight volume by more than 150 percent year over year, according to OmniTRAX. The short line originally was built to serve U.S. Steel's Cleveland-area steel mills.
