Social Responsibility and Green Financing Framework

In April, Trinity Industries published its inaugural 2020 Corporate Social Responsibility Report (CSR) that detailed the Company's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives and response to Covid-19. As part of this effort, earlier in 2021, the Company announced that Trinity Industries Leasing Company (TILC) issued the release of its Green Financing Framework, supported by a second-party opinion from Sustainatytics, a Morningstar Company and a globally recognized provider of ESG research, ratings and data. "As part of our commitment to sustainability, we take our commitment to reducing our environmental impact seriously as a company and as an industry," said Savage. "TILC's Green Financing Framework is an important step to contributing to a more resource-efficient economy, embedding climate change mitigation into our business strategy, and better facilitating our customers' alignment in confronting these growing challenges."
