Tool-supported Design of an Application-specific Soft Microprocessor

摘要

This paper reports about an ongoing case study that deals with embedded systems design. Target is an FPGA based system including a multi-core soft microprocessor. The case study investigates how different components of the design can be integrated into a homogenous design flow using a single commercially available design tool. Some details are presented; some open questions and possible solutions are discussed.
