All papers cited are in the English language unless otherwise stated in brackets. Significant papers arencited with full source data and an abstract. Papers are arranged within the headings. The bibliography is intendednto be as near comprehensive as possible; the Editorial Board has advised on those journals to be included and anlist of those given priority in indexing is given below. Over 1000 journals received at the University of Lancasternare scanned for relevant material.
