Territory Palliative Care - a model for remote area palliative care provision

Territory Palliative Care (TPC) is the sole palliative care specialist team for the whole of the Northern Territory (NT), Australia. There are branches located in Darwin and Alice Springs. The Darwin team covers the area known as the 'Top End', the top half of the NT while the Alice Springs branch is responsible for the Central Australia regions. The activities of TPC as a model for remote area palliative care provision are reviewed.
