Good morning ladies and gentlemen, it's a great pleasure and privilege for me to participate in the opening ceremony of the 2nd COE-INES International Symposium on Innovative Nuclear Energy Systems here in Port Yokohama. On behalf of the Tokyo Institute of Technology, I'm delighted to welcome all of you to INES-2. As the President of the Tokyo Institute of Technology, I'd like to introduce what the 21st Century Center of Excellence Program promoted in our institute.
