Priority traffic control using fuzzy technology

摘要

A fuzzy threshold controller for priority traffic in ATM networks is presented. The controller is based on fuzzy theory and PID control principle. The new approach can perform much better than the fixed threshold mechanism through adjusting the threshold periodically and adaptively according to the arriving traffic load and charac- teristics.
