The photoviscoelastic modeling of the creep of frozen soil

摘要

The property of the creep of frozen soil has been tested and similarity relation has been obtained. Two photoviscoelastic experiments were conducted to simulate the plane problems of frozen soil under the load of rigid square body and pile foundationrespectively. The results obtained make the forecast of the movement of frozen soil possible for the first time.
