Underneath the prototype of the wing for Airbus's next aircraft, the A350 XWB, there are sensors, strain gauges and wires galore trailing from different components. Among the high-tech jumble there are two arrows drawn in big black marker pen. One is labelled front and one is labelled back. It's unlikely that they could put the wings of the most advanced passenger aircraft to be built in Europe on the wrong way.
