Working from home more than just a hobby

When Christopher Chester-Browne retired in 1988 after a long career as an engineer, he moved with his wife to Portugal. But lazing around in the sunshine didn't appeal to someone who had built up a wealth of practical skills so he began to embark on a more interesting pastime. After establishing a workshop next to his home, Chester-Browne set about obtaining drawings of steam engines dating back to the 1920s. He has spent 10,000 hours constructing several working models, all made from basic local materials.
