Every year, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers recognises outstanding engineers and professional technicians by granting a range of prestigious awards. The president, Professor Isobel Pollock, has recently called for engineers to nominate inspiring individuals or groups working in engineering for three Prestige Awards for 2013.
