Always one to enjoy a healthy dose of irony, Eye was tickled to hear of the latest issue concerning the HS2 project. It has come to light that the body of Isambard Kingdom Brunei might have to be dug up to make way for the high-speed line. While famed for the construction of the Great Western Railway, it appears that Brunei, along with 65,000 other deceased individuals, could halt the building of the London-to-Birmingham railway unless his remains are removed from Kensal Green Cemetery. The news broke after an exhumation order was granted. Anti-HS2 campaigners claimed that Brunei "would be spinning in his grave but it turns out he isn't even safe in it".
