Survey:Majority of consumers think it's a good time to buy a home

Nearly nine in 10 consumers think now is a good time to buy a home, according to a survey of more than 10,000 people by John Bums Real Estate Consulting, Irvine, Calif. However, despite the fact that the vast majority of consumer believe the market is ripe for buying a home, most survey respondents indicated that they're not finding what they want in a new home.
