Beazer Homes Forms REIT to Purchase Homes for Rentals

Last month, Beazer Homes announced plans to partner with investment firm KKR to form a real estate investment trust (REIT) to acquire single-family properties for the purposes of converting them into rental housing. Beazer and KKR plan to eventually take the REIT, called Beazer Pre-Owned Rental Homes Inc. (BPRH), public, according to the Wall Street Journal.
