Camera, Meter: Can We Talk?

A new Bluetooth-based technology allows infrared cameras from Flir and meters from Extech Instruments to "talk" wirelessly. Called MeterLink, the capability allows electrical readings from an Extech clampmeter to be transmitted to a Flir camera and be recorded on the related infrared image. Suited for electrical-related diagnostics, the compatibility allows technicians using MeterLink-enabled devices to gather even more information for predictive and preventive maintenance operations.
