摘要

Summarizing, we argue that ancestral biochemical life pro- cesses originated from the shuffling and assembly of a limited number of structural motifs, consequently used for different functional purposes. Memory of this early structural tinkering is conserved in modern systems but its ecistence is hidden by the "noise" created by the more recent evolutionary events.
