摘要

Room temperature reactions of [Fe_2(CO)_6(mu-Se_2)] with the diacety-lenes, RC = CC = CH(R = Me, n-Bu) yield the products, [(CO)_6 Fe_2{mu-SeCC(H)C(R)SeCSe}]; X-ray analysis of the R = Me compound has been carried out and reveals an unusual cyciisatipn of the diacetylene with incorporation of a selenium atom to form a cyclic C_4Se ligand attached to the Fe_2(CO)_6Se_2 core.
