Recommendations of the International Scientific Conference on 'Regional Cooperation Between Russia and the CIS' (Moscow, May 20-21,2004)

On May 20-21,2004, an international scientific conference on Regional Cooperation Between Russia and the CIS took place in the city of Moscow. The conference was organized by the Center for Research into Economic Problems of the CIS of the Council for the Study of Productive Forces under the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Russian Academy of Sciences. Financial support was provided by the Russian Scholarly Foundation for the Humanities. Participants in the conference included scientists and practitioners in the field of economic cooperation between the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States [CIS] countries from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine.
