Strategy for Russia's Exit from the Crisis

The article connects the current global economic crisis with the end of the Kondratiev long wave and entry into a new wave. Neoliberal prescriptions for such transformations and further economic functioning are already out of date. According to the authors, neither the monetarist nor the Keynes-ian approaches can be substituted for them. The only alternative is the synergetic model of development, first of all building a market hierarchy instead of a traditional linear system of governance. The article emphasizes the urgent necessity for comprehending the strategic interaction between the synergetic transformation and the systemic integrity of the economy. The crises in the United States and Russia are compared. It is suggested, in particular, that the crisis in Russia might be deeper if one considers the difference between the two countries in the depth of their economic and social bottom.
