Growth Prospects for the Russian Economy in Current Long-Term Forecasts

The article is devoted to a survey and comparative analysis of existing medium- and long-term forecasts of the Russian Federation's economic development made by Russian and foreign analytic organizations. The process of establishing a government strategic planning system in Russia is discussed. Long-term forecasting problems such as the influence of short-term market conditions and the use of adequate tools are identified.
