Problems Relating to the Development and Implementation of the Ural Industrial-Ural Polar Mega project: Lessons for the Future

摘要

The article provides a general description of the Ural Industrial-Ural Polar project and presents a detailed analysis of the reasons behind its fiasco. A summary is given of the author's research regarding the natural resource potential of the Subpolar and Polar Urals and the development of transportation in the region. Finally, an assessment is made of the possible development of the raw material base of solid mineral deposits in the context of Russia's national resource regime.
