Inventec Acquires SMT International

Inventec Performance Materials in December acquired SMT International, the manufacturer of Amtech brand solder pastes. The acquisition expands Inventec's global footprint and product offerings. No financial terms were disclosed. The merged companies will operate as Inventec Performance Chemicals USA (Inventec USA), a division of the Dehon Group. Inventec global managing director Patrice Rollet called the deal "a critical step in expanding our presence across North America."
