‘Pat’ as he was better known to all hiscolleagues and friends, died at his homein Bowral NSW on 11 September 2020.Pat started his career in geophysics withBHP’s Exploration Division, undertakinga wide variety of surveys throughoutAustralia. In 1979 he joined Tony Cram,the head of Engineering ComputerServices (ECS) in Bowral, where heremained for 26 years. He was producingcomputer- drawn contour maps for ECSfrom the early 1980s.
