And I am not going to include COVID-19!On 23 June 2020 Keith Pitt the Minister for Resources, Water and Northern Australia Minister announced that the Government will invest a further $125 million over four years on Geoscience Australia's Exploring for the Future (EFTF) programme. EFTF is an Australian Government programme, led by Geoscience Australia, dedicated to encouraging exploration for mineral and petroleum resources and to improving the management of ground water and our rural resources. This investment comes on the back of the $100 million committed in 2016 to provide new (mainly geophysical) data sets over northern Australia.
