Sampling of solid raw materials 2nd conference on 19th and 20th June, 2001, in Essen

In response to the growing interest in the field of sampling, Haus der Technik e.V. And the trade journal Mineral Processing have decided to arrange a joint series of events on the topic Sampling of solid Raw Materials. The first conference held in April 1999 already confirmed impressively that sampling is always caught in the dilemma between Cost, Benefit and Risk, making it extreme- ly difficult to find answers to the question of proper sampling. The second conference, scheduled to be held on 19th and 20th June, 2001, at the Haus der Technik e.V., in Essen, Germany, therefore aims to increase awareness of the requirements and possibilities of appropriate quality grading and to make the importance of sam- pling particularly clear.
