Fair Weather For Waters & Stanton 40th Anniversary Open Day

Despite the previous evening's spectacula thunderstorm - the weather held fair on Sunday July 28th - just right for the Waters & Stanton PLC's Open Day and 40th Anniversary celebrations. The day was formally opened by PW Editor Rob Mannion G3XFD with an unusually extremely brief (for our Editor at least!) speech, in conjunction with W&S Sales Director Mark Francis G0GBY - who then presented his own short speech congratulating Peter Waters G3OJV and Jeff Stanton G6XYU on their 40 years trading. Peter and Jeff then ceremonially sliced their cake - and ate it! Never has a cake disappeared so quickly in so many directions!
