CORROSION CRACKING OF STEAM TURBINE DISKS OPERATING IN THE ZONE OF PHASE TRANSFORMATION

The problem of corrosion-cracking damage of turbine rotor disks in the zone of phase transformation is considered. Factors affecting the damage (structure, metal, features of operation, water chemistry) are described, and some recommendations for preventing this kind of damage are given.
