ANALYSIS OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE WITH STEAM AIR PREHEATERS AT RUSSIAN MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE THERMAL POWER PLANTS

The results of experimental and industrial thermal hydraulic tests of air preheaters made up of conventional steam sections of air heaters are analyzed. The condensation of saturated and superheated«steam in parallel channels of bundles of tubing and in separate sections is examined. The joining of bundles of tubing for steam supply and condensate drainage is analyzed. Recommendations are provided for the design of air preheaters of this type and for increasing their operating efficiency.
