THE MAXIMUM CURRENT PROTECTION OF MODULAR GENERATORS OF HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANTS

The maximum current protection that can be achieved in a generator with two protection zones is considered for a unit having a transformer with a low-voltage winding, split into parts, to which the generators are connected. This protection enables the speed of response for short circuits in the generator voltage zone of the unit to be increased.
