GE Glegg Water Technologies has established new service facilities in Portland, Ore., Houston, Texas and Singapore. Each site will provide water solutions ranging from replacement parts and services to technical audits of water treatment systems, system upgrades, plant servicing, commissioning and plant operation activities. New EPA requirements on NO_x emissions from coal-fired plants have hampered the sale of fly ash for concrete manufacture because carbon is now transferred to the ash.
