The State of Michigan has reached a settlement with Detroit Edison regarding what the state claimed was an illegal restart of the company's coal-fired Conners Creek power plant located in downtown Detroit. As a result of the litigation, Detroit Edison has converted the plant from coal to natural gas at a cost of $10 million.
