After its merger with Constellation Energy was completed on March 12, Exelon Corp. became a company with one of the nation's largest power generation fleets with approximately 35,000 MW of owned power generation, including 19,000 MW of nuclear. The combined company generates 22 percent of the nation's nuclear power and 4 percent of all electricity in the U.S. Exelon's 11 nuclear plants generate 80 percent of the company's total electricity output.
