Wind Blade Testing

The National Renewable Energy Laboratory released a video demonstrating its wind turbine blade testing capabilities. The facility conducts structural research with servo-hydraulic equipment and data acquisition systems to ensure blades live up to the International Electrotechnical Commission 61400-23 standard. The facility can validate blades and other components as small as one meter to more than 50 meters in length.
