Micrel, Inc. introduced the MIC2782, one of the world's smallest push-button-reset ICs in the industry. Delivered in 0.8mm x 1.2mm Chip Scale Packaging, the MIC2782 features dual push-button reset inputs and extended setup periods of 6 to 12s. Intended for safely generating hard system resets, the dual-inputs and long setup periods protect against accidental system resets in Smart Phones, tablets, eBooks, set top boxes, personal navigation devices and toys. The MIC2782 is currently available in volume quantities, with 1,000 quantity pricing starting at $0.25.
