Ivor Jenkins Award made to Stuart Blackburn

The 2008 Ivor Jenkins Award of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining has been made to Stuart Blackburn, Professor in Solids Processing at the University of Birmingham, UK, for his dedication to the field of solids, and extrusion and injection moulding of particulate materials. The Jenkins Award is made in recognition of a significant contribution which has enhanced the scientific, industrial or technological understanding of material processing or component production using particulate materials.
