Powder diffraction data for fluorocomplexes of niobium IV: MNbF_6 (M=Ca, Mg, Cd, Zn)

摘要

Four compounds in the hexafluoroniobates IV series MNbF_6 (M=Ca, Mg, Cd, Zn) have been synthesized by solid-state reactions. CaNbF_6, MgNbF_6, and the "high temperature" forom of CdNbF_6 are isostructural with f.c. cubic NaSbF_6 (space group Fm3m). ZnNbF_6 and the room Temeprature form of cdNbF_6 are isostructural with rhombohedral LiSbF_6 (space group R3). Syntheses and powder diffraction data are reported.
