摘要

Cu_2Th_4(MoO_4)_9 is cubic: a=14.4856 (1) A, space group I43d, Z=4. Its crystal structure was recently determined using a single crystal. The results of chemical study allow one to reject the existence of li_4Th_7(MO_4)_16 and La(MO_4)(ReO_4) compounds with M=Mo, W, reported as isostructural with Cu_2Th_4(MoO_4)_9. Precise X-ray powder patterns are established for Cu_2Th_4(MoO_4)_9 and isotypic compounds Li_2Th_4(MoO_4)_9, Li_2Th_4(WO_4)_9, and La_4(MoO_4)_3(ReO_4)_6.
